Volunteer of the Month

As part of the Volunteer Academy we want to celebrate the contribution of all volunteers across all of our programmes. Therefore, every month we will select two volunteers who have made a significant contribution within their area as Volunteers of the Month. The winners will be featured on our uea+sport Instagram, will receive a certificate to celebrate their award and also automatically be nominated for the Volunteer of the Year Award at our annual UEA Sports Awards.

Volunteer of the Month

How do I nominate someone for the award?

Anyone can nominate one of our members of the Volunteer Academy to be Volunteer of the Month. Nominations can be made by completing our Volunteer of the Month nomination form.

Nominations can be made at any time, and may revolve around a particular moment, competition or the contribution of the individual over the month. Nominations will close on the last  Monday of each month, with the winner announced on the uea+sport Instagram and will also appear on the uea+sport homepage.
