Our Facilities

At uea+sport we have access to a wide variety of facilities that enable us to facilitate our extensive range of sports and activities. The Sportspark (on campus) was built in 2000 with the help of Lottery funding, this expansive set of indoor facilities provides a unique cooperative with the local and student communities sharing and benefitting from the support each can bring to the other. UEA is rightly proud of its Research (REF) and Teaching (TEF GOLD) Excellence, Sportspark assists in UEA’s Civic Excellence in the region. Our playing fields at Colney Lane host a wide variety of sports and are a great example of our campus' open spaces. Several of our clubs take advantage of our links with external facilities for training and competitions. For example, Wroxham Broad, Bawburgh Golf Club, Christal Seas Scuba and many more! If you are a wheelchair user or have accessibility requirements please feel free to get in touch with our uea+sport staff who can advise you on specific wheelchair accessibility adaptations for the facilities which we utilise - please email us at studentsport@uea.ac.uk.
