Why did you sign up for Moves?
I am a sucker for competition, and it was a great way to get out and be active, especially when we were all stuck at home in lockdown.
What do you like about Moves?
It’s simple and easy to use, the points and leader board are great at incentivising me to keep active.
Has Moves impacted your physical activity levels and how?
I have certainly been out and in the countryside more, which was important during the pandemic. It made me stay accountable to myself.
What do you like doing physical activity-wise?
A bit of everything – running, walking, cycling, swimming. Anytime, any weather!
What are your top tips for being physically active?
Set achievable goals but don’t get consumed by them, the more you do for enjoyment rather than success the more likely you will carry on staying active long-term.
What rewards have you enjoyed claiming?
The Grenade protein bars certainly are scrummy, I do tend to donate most of my points to charity as well
What are your favourite challenges?
I like the long-distance runs and it stops me from opting to run a shorter route if I’m feeling lazy!
