Korfball at UEA

We are the UEA Tigers Korfball Club! We welcome players of all abilities and support people looking for a social way to keep fit as well as those looking to compete at the top level. Korfball is a unique mixed-gendered sport similar to netball. Teams consist of an even number of male and female players, with a rotating offence/defence and the objective of scoring the ball through the baskets at either end of the court. We currently have 3 BUCS teams that all compete across the UK against other universities in a 3-stage tournament. We also have a 4th team (development team) for members who want to play more korfball outside of training and against non UEA players. This is weekly and all 4 teams play in the local Norfolk Korfball league every Sunday. We also love to enjoy ourselves off the court, with great socials throughout the year and plenty of opportunities to get to know your fellow club members. We also attend tournaments around the UK and in Europe!

UEA are the current BUCS National Champions and have won the competition 7 times, more than any other university!

2022/23 Season:
2nd place finish for the 1st team in the BUCS National Championship8th place finish for the 2nd team in the BUCS National trophy
15th place finish for the 3rd team in the BUCS National trophy (First time UEA 3rd team made it to trophy)

2021/22 Season:
