Men's Football at UEA

The club compete in mid-week British Universities competition and weekend local league competitions providing lots of playing opportunities. In total, the men's club have three teams that play on a Wednesday and four teams that play on a Saturday. Building on the success of recent seasons and the growth of the men's squad, in 2o21-2022 all 1st team players will receive developing excellence scholarships and access to free gym and swim memberships, strength and conditioning sessions, physiotherapy and nutritional workshops. This means players in the UEA football programme are supported to achieve the very best. The football programme, led by Head of Football Paul Neary, has seen some notable successes in recent seasons with the men's 1st team competing at step 6 of the football pyramid in Thurlow Nunn English Division as well as seeing players represent English Universities at Home Nations University events.
