Clubs are nominated and voted for against the below criteria:

Participation: the club must be engaging an increased number of participants in their sport (measurables: DSD attendees, number of members, turnout at one off events)

Performance: the club should have a noticeable increase in their performance when compared against themselves (not other clubs) (measurables: BUCS points, club development plan, wins at non-BUCS competitions / tournaments).

Community engagement: most clubs engage with the community at some point throughout the year, so with this we’re looking for clubs which have gone above and beyond in one particular month to gain the ‘club of the month’ prize.

Campaigns: the club may have ran a powerful campaign in the month, eg a liberation month (measurables: currently Athlete Angel, although this is subject to change).
